Troop 764 was originally founded as Troop 1, reportedly the first Boy Scout Troop in Baltimore County, MD. Later, the "troop 1" designation was reassigned to council and the troop became Troop 305. After a brief lapse in charter in the 1950s, the troop was recharted as Troop 764.
Troop 764 serves boys in grades 6-12 (ages 10-17) from the Halethorpe, Relay, Arbutus, and surrounding areas. Currently, we even have a scout who travels from Howard County to attend our meetings! We meet September through June on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 at Halethorpe-Relay United Methodist Church.
